But it passed that number way back in mid-June. Universal needs to update us on how much it's made since then, which I think they will do once it hits $1.519B by August or September.

Exactly. Even the DOM-numbers for FF7 hasn't been updated yet. At this point, it should be a lot more than it is now. I keep thinking that FF7 would go..."Hey! What about us?"

I'm still amazed that FF7 made almost 1.2B overseas alone, beating every other blockbuster outside of James Cameron's Titanic and Avatar. Noooooooooo one saw that coming.

Urggh....It's down to #4 all time, again.

 

Looks like Disney really doesn't want Avengers 1 to be beaten by Universal, at all. They want to make sure "Toretto & Co" + "Indominus Rex" doesn't top it. "Disney! You're being chickens."

 

FF7 still running in theaters DOM...but Universal hasn't even tracked it since last month. It's run couldn't have closed THIS early. Even FF5 & FF6 stayed in theaters longer.
