Great news, in my opinion. Robin Hood and the Wicked Witch will be regular members of the cast in season 5. http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/09/once-upon-time-sean-maguire-rebecca-mader-season-5

It's exactly the same mistake Deadline made with their forecast, saying how this would be frontloaded because fans would run to see it the first day. But the thing is, the Jurassic franchise is a different animal from those comic book adaptations. Here there's no small and vocal audience driving reactions, it's just the general audience being very interested in a new entry in mass. Specially if the right elements align (thirst for a new sequel, unique premise in front of other blockbusters, right cast, right marketing).

Jurassic World (2015)

I don't think it needed anything else than those comments, though. It's a Hollywood product that acknowledges its own nature. -

Good entertainment. Nothing more, nothing less. It starts very sloppy, but it just keeps getting better, and the third act blows your mind in a good way. It's definitely dumb in many moments, though. It's OK to be dumb in Hollywood, but you need to hide it well so people don't realize of the absence of logic. The kids fixing and abandoned 20+ years-old Jeep was the most stricking moment for me, it took me out of the film completely, and I wasn't even thinking how lucky they were that it had enough gas to take them to the park. The other dumb thing that took me out of the experience is the utter incompetence of Claire when it came to evacuating the island. I understand why their need to prevent the bad news from spreading, but once the first containment team was killed, there was no excuse not to get all those people out of there. And as the movie goes on, it just gets more ridiculous, like when you see that the pterodactyle attack happens in the daylight and the night comes and people are STILL there. I would have understood if there was a problem with the boats or anything (the original used the storm to make communications and transportation more difficult), but they didn't give any excuse. Just sloppy writing. In the real world, Claire's mismanagement of the situation would have probably gotten her to jail. The kids have one too many emotional scenes, by the end it felt redundant how much they tried to show us that their relationship had changed. The directing was generic but satisfactory. A more skillful director could have made scenes like the helicopter crash a lot more impressive. He didn't do a bad job at all, but I'm glad he won't direct the next one. I can't imagine what this could have been in the hands of the people who made Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Overall, a solid entertainment. I give it a B. -
The Americans was named best drama of the year by the Critics Choice. I'm finally not alone saying that! I'm not expecting a complete turnaround in the awards season, but it would be nice to see the show getting more nominations. This third season has got really good reviews.

I find truly fascinating how Blair started out as the villain and she ended up being pretty much the only character worth following. She remains brilliant all through, and after the character is developed and gets some depth, she stops being just 'the bad guy.' Serena is ruined beyond any recovery, Dan loses steam as the show progresses, Nate is never interesting and Chuck has his moments, although he developed too quickly for my taste. And it's funny that some of those characters become so hateful you start rooting for those who want to destroy them,

Pan | Oct. 9, 2015 | New Trailer on Page 25!

VFX look seriously impressive, and it seems like Hugh Jackman has done a great job. Too bad that I'm not really into Peter Pan, but after this trailer I would actually consider watching this film. -
I think it was a good episode, but for a show with such a strong sense of "community" among the cast, I expected/wanted a lot more of interaction among the characters. But I guess that was the reason why the move to McCann meant the end of the show: because it was leading to the group disbanding. I do feel disapointed that that crucial moment in Don's life had to happen away from everyone else. Even his last conversations with Peggy did not live up to the journey they had shared from the early days. I don't know. I think the story works on paper and it makes sense, but the episode, as an audiovisual media, lacked in emotiveness.

There's a difference between girly and sexist. Gilmore Girls, Ugly Betty (the US version), Younger...are girly shows, but their essence is far from sexist. Only 1:30 minutes into the trailer and we have seen that Kara is completely worthless in front of a cute guy, and we have met two potential love interests already. That's the first impression they wanted to give us about the protagonist, how she interacts with men, before seeing any of her powers or intellectual capabilities. And the only other female character we see? A cold hearted *itch who is successful in her career, but unable to feel any empathy. Two incredibly sexist stereotypes about women right from the start. Having said that, we are talking about a preview, (although it is 6 minutes long) so the final product might not give the same impression.
