  14. Yeah, I'm glad to see it have a decent start yesterday. Hoping it's able to get a few more theatres at some point.
  15. Not sure if anyone does something like this already on the forum, but I didn't see something like it anywhere, so throwing a poll out there for the movie you want to see most for the upcoming weekend. If it gets a good # of votes, plan on throwing a new one up every Saturday. And now, let the Hunger Games domination begin.

  18. Don't really see a thread for the upcoming Hobbit films yet, at least not in this area of the forum. So, starting one up.I think I've watched the trailer at least a dozen times so far, which I almost never do. Def. my most anticipated film of 2012. Will def. have to re-watch the trilogy at least a couple times between now and Dec. 14.
  19. As my user name probably suggests, I think the prequels get a bad wrap, especially Attack of the Clones. Some of what I like:The Phantom MenaceThe Pod RaceWattoDarth MaulThe editing together of the final battleThe look and feel of NabooLiam NeesonAttack of the ClonesAnakin searching for and finding his motherJango Fett & Bobba FettIntroduction of the clone army on KaminoYoda vs Count DookuThe asteroid field chase (especially the seismic charges)Christopher LeeRevenge of the SithThe Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the WiseAnakin vs Obi-Wan on MustafarAnakin's Fall (younglings/separatists)Yoda vs Sidious in the SenateThe final shots of the filmGeneral GrievousThroughoutThe ScoreEwan McGregorR2-D2
  20. For an upcoming birthday present to myself, just ordered Speed, Menace II Society, Boyz N the Hood and Friday. Also some Ren & Stimpy and Dinosaurs on DVD
  21. I think some of it has to do with discount ticket prices on Tuesdays in some locations. 3D films that people may want to save some $ on, seem to get good Tuesday bumps later in their runs.
  22. Numbers, except for Sony, are in: http://www.boxoffice.com/statistics/bo_numbers/daily/2012-03-14
