The ending is the glue that really brings the whole movie together. The epilogue is gorgeous and really impacts you exactly how it's intended to. I love the subtlety of it, and instead of leaving you with an open ending (how I thought it was going to my first viewing), it kind of closes with an open question. It shows two roads Sebatian could have had (even if the montage shows it more idealistically), he could have had her or he could have his dream. He gets one, and the other nameless man gets the other. It's a nice look at reality, at how relationships with others shape you. How you can meet somebody perfect for you, but on a different path, and you're left with the option to give up your goals and dreams, or to part ways. It's brilliant.

Guardians is detached from the rest of the Marvel movies and is the most GA-approachable (for people who haven't been into the superhero scene). I expect it to behave different than the rest.

Im still nervous that his direction is going to be subdued by the Feige. But then again Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man and the Avengers all managed to have a bit of flair to them, so maybe he can do it for Thor. -

I was listening to Mona Lisa from Popstar and it inspired me to (slightly) rewrite the chorus as a dedication for James Cameron James Cameron, you're an overrated piece of shit. With your terrible style and the lack of an eye For a decently written script What the fuck is this garbage? James Cameron, the original basic bitch Taken decades of time to release something sublime But the best you've got is the Abyss, you ugly.

I really want to vote for Mona Lisa. I'm just struggling to decide if I get rid of my one Lin song or if I get rid of City of Stars/Someone in the Crowd/Audition. I'm pretty firm on Another Day of Sun being my winner. Funny though, I probably would have included Popstar on my top 20 list I just kind of overlooked it until people started talking about it again. EDIT: I think I'm going to limit myself to only nominating two La La Land songs and just put it on Sountrack so I can fit in Mona Lisa and The Great Beyond.
