    Has some impressive visuals here and there, but so did Tomorrowland, John Carter and Lone Ranger. I enjoyed all those movies at the comfort of my home. This may crack 90M domestically, but that won't be sufficient to cover the budget. Also, it won't make much overseas. Ava should have done a Marvel film even if it meant not have the final say on the finished product because atleast she would have gotten a guaranteed boxoffice hit. I somehow doubt she had final say on this movie with zero interference from Disney.

    I am seriousy disappointed in the size of the monsters. Was hoping that they will be much larger....I was hoping to see an ape way bigger than Kong in skull island. This appears smaller than that Kong.

    If I was a studio exec, I would pull the plug on Dune. That movie will be a bigger bomb than Blade runner 2049 even if gets similar critical reception. Dennis needs to do a big comic book movie to get a big blockbuster under his belt so that he can do his small passion projects.

    People are actually jazzed about Thor 3...adding hulk to the mix helps A LOT. Plus it's that season when university and many other exams get over and youngsters want to go watch movies. Perfect release.

    Once again, I predicted the outcome a few weeks ago. Mixed reviews and a big boxoffice disappointment. Sigh. Fox is not having a good year as far as tent poles go barring Wolverine.

    Shape of water is a fox movie?!! Murder on Orient Express might do well, but I am not sure about critical prospects. These oscar-bait multi-starrers haven't really clicked in the past either commercially or critically. Hope this one bucks the trend, but not feeling it. I was very excited when I saw the teaser though. Haven't heard of The Post and Three Billboards. Ferdinand will be perfect cunterprogramming to star wars. Will crack 120M domestic.
