    These short durations between theatrical and OTT is killing audience visiting to theaters for sure. My colleagues were saying they are planning to watch Thor LT on disney+ due to not so great reviews....had it been 2019...they would have watched it within-first 10 days...

    I usually try to keep expectations low 😄 no matter what...pretty sure SK and JP will surprise!

    TGM will end up crossing 650m dethroning F8 for a 7th spot in Top 10 list. Transformers dark of the moon is at 6th spot with 762m which seems like unlikely at the moment.

    Why is CA reported as Panama for TGM whereas for JWD its reported as CA? Does it depend on studios?

    As pepsa said its better to expect a max of 30m from now in SK...not sure how the lineup in korea looks like... its summer time here so we can expect local biggies to crop up quite regularly!

    It depends, if any movie has good teaser, trailer cut that will definitely help in boosting any movies hype for sure....but for a movie like this opening will depend solely on amirs star power.....as WoM will be key...its a romantic drama which may not have many takers considering the fact that hindi market is still in a slump....and i feel aamir is more like a star whose movies run on WoM and hype only not the star himself like SRK or Salman.

    I never missed Mixed WoM for MoM...the last line i clearly mentioned about it. Guess we have to accept LT's WoM is worse than MoM.

    Thor LT suffered from lacklustre hype and its trailers were not upto the mark LT wasn't as intriguing as MoM and add its WoM which added fuel to the fire....MoM had that NWH factor...people were hyped up during NWH itself and thats what made MoM open so big all over. MoM had a upper hand in one department while LT lacked in both (Hype & WoM)

    I dont think LT numbers can be considered as a disappointment considering the fact that it did not release in a 30M Middle east market, 20-30m Russia and 150m China....decent numbers Even MoM numbers were not disappointing...945M WW with mixed WoM is no easy task and again No R&C release

    Budget is around 250M...........Currently its sitting at 233Dom and 264OS Dom-230*55%=126.5M OS-264*40%=105.6 just 18M short of prodn budget as of now....Assume 100M P&E is not inculded in this....end of the run LT will cover that as well

    I personally enjoyed Bheemla Nayak in theaters...love the malayalm version but in telugu they made it fine to suit tastes of telugu audience. Gabbar Singh is cult classic though!
