  2. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=waterworld.htm The most expensive film ever made (at the time) and it's budget adjusts to 276M in today's money. Also sunk Costner's career for a while ha ha ha.
  3. This still doesn't have a date here (nor in Australia, or so I've heard). They pulled this shit with the last one; I really wanted to see it but it never got a release date so I ended up waiting for its home release. If they make me go through that again... Fuck you Lionsgate.
  4. I'm also in the hate Neon Demon club, so you're not alone Numbers. Fuck that movie. Nice list though, Baumer. I don't agree parts of it but I always appreciate your write-ups.
  5. Too bad he wasn't vs-ing any real fan favourites (except maybe Malek). Not gonna get as much salt from this win.
  6. Edge of Seventeen Jan 7th, 1:40PM, 35% full Trailers: Missed them. Friends took years to find parking smh. Everyone loved it. Laughs all throughout. Friends liked it a lot as well. Arrival Jan 7th, 4:00PM, 85% full Trailers: Missed them. Was getting food, ended up late. Not a great day for trailers. Everyone was into it. Murmurs during appropriate times etc. Jackie Jan 15th, 4:30PM, 75% full Trailers: Moonlight Toni Erdmann Pretty quiet. Lots of discussion coming out of the theatre though. Moonlight Jan 22nd, 3:50PM, 100% full Trailers: The Innocents Toni Erdmann Lion Subdued audience. Couple of laughs at some points but generally pretty quiet. Hidden Figures Jan 29th, 8:40PM, 65% full Trailers: The Boss Baby Smurfs: The Lost Village Lego Batman Fucking Boss Baby again Beauty and the Beast Pork Pie I have no idea what was up with the trailers. Starting off with 3 animated films seems odd; not really the target audience (and it was a late night showing) but whatever. Audience loved it. Laughs at appropriate times.
