  1. Okay, so I'm ready to give this AoS a second chance. I haven't seen the show since the S1E1, and couldn't even get through that episode because most of the acting was sooooooooooo bad. Where's a good place to pick up, without having to endure all of S1.
  2. HEY! I've paid good money for that service!
  3. I think the release date was fine, it provided good counter-programming to BH6 and got out of the gate before MJ1 and TH3 hit. It could be that TPTB relied too much on Nolan's name and the power of his followers to make this breakout.
  4. LOL! Why are some of you folks so upset about this? It's not like the story has no where else to go or that the 15 minutes of TS3 weren't an obvious hand-off to TS4.
  5. Great subject, great read! And another example of how my home viewing has changed things.
  6. Wake me up when they do Visionaries and Galaxy Rangers.
  7. Even if Fury wins, you should see The Judge.
  8. Well, this has been a fun thread. Thanks for providing so much entertainment, folks.
  9. There aren't enough words in any language to describe how awesome this post is.
  10. Because of the golden anniversary, Paramount is going to promote the next Star Trek as if humanity's survival depends on people going to see it. I think it will do fine.
  11. Yes, because they didn't seem good to me. Hunger Games didn't because I don't find the idea of kids hunting down or being hunted by other kids entertaining. Other YAs because they tend to be overfilled with melodrama and/or silly romances, and I find neither appealing. Knowing nothing about MR except what I saw in the trailer, it looks like something I would like to see. But, again, I'm going to wait to get reports from others before making a final decision to lay down the bucks.
  12. What can I say, it looks good. I'll wait to hear what others think before finally deciding.
  13. I tend to steer clear from YA movies, but I'm seriously considering seeing MR.
  14. Making a comic book movie simple to accommodate a female lead is just as ridiculous as not making such a movie because the lead would be female. If a BW movie currently fits into Marvel's overall plan, great. If not, no one at Marvel should go out of their way to tweak the plan just so they could make a BW movie.
