If people are excited for this, good for them. The Lion King has somewhat interesting lore, but I don't know if this particular is interesting enough to go see.
I will personally be watching Sonic 3.
I guess I should rewatch Clone Wars to really get the effect of this, I barely remember anything. At first I was thinking "Idk seems they're scraping for characters to expand upon", but the more I thought about it, the more this is a story I want to see.
Maybe I would have preferred a novel but this is still cool
I have seen them on
- Spotify
- YouTube
- Matthew Belloni's The Town podcast where he is actually saying the words. I don't recall if he's actually saying "vote for the white group" or whatever, but it's still weird that an ad is a real person saying "BOB IGER NEEDS YOUR HELP!''
Where I have not seen any, as a stockholder:
- An actual email by the board.
If they were working on the visuals simultaneously (hence why animators were overworked), I wonder how much is done, and that's before the voice acting. I don't think it'll be that long, maybe end of '25 or March 26.
Do we have theater counts on this yet? Surprised it's not playing at our dive theater but our Regal already has several screens, this seems like a very "I need to see this in the theater I have to walk through an alley into an abandoned mall to get to." vibe to keep it gritty.
It (Well, it looks like) a small-budget production, so I understand using AI, but I do know small horror movies love to use art by local creators.
It's just weird for people making a piece of art to go "You know where we're going to cut corners? The art part."
I wasn't born when the original X-Men cartoon came out in 92 (It predates me by literally 2 months) and never watched this; This new one is really entertaining.
