This entire movie is a visual marvel but this scene was the standout. I've also never seen Austin Butler in anything before this, and while I'm not rushing to watch ELVIS, he is spectacular.
Regal has cup toppers and a really cute popcorn bucket that looks like a Chinese takeout box. I should have asked how much it was but I was already a little late for Dune.
Dune Part 2
1130 but it didn't start until 12 PM
Godzilla x Kong (Which I didn't realize was so close!)
Ghostbusters Frozen Empire
The First Omen
Challengers
Horizon
Twisters
Something I probably missed. Maybe Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
Some old man the row behind me kept having occasional commentary and put his feet on the bottom row and kept shaking me so I moved a row down. There was next to no reaction to anything.
I know AMC did it for The Batman...maybe it happened and I totally missed it for other movies, I either went to the budget theater or saw movies weeks later when it would have been regular price.
Is there surge pricing on Dune for some chains? It's 14.18 at my Regal theater tomorrow when tickets are normally 13.64 (I think it was that price for the 3 PM showing today).
I can't compare it to another new release because there are none, but Ordinary Angels is about 12.45$.
I think with Robot Dreams and Holdovers I have....23 or 24.
I at least know my top 8;
Polite Society
Godzilla Minus One
Robot Dreams
Dungeons and Dragons
The Boy and The Heron
The Holdovers
Songbirds and Snakes
The Creator
and bottom two
22. Super Mario Bros.
23. Wish
this'll probably be in RPX at my Regal, but watching Heron was such an odd experience with that screen that i'll probably just keep it on a normal screen.
I love 1, I don't like 2 outside of about 20 minutes (More Cannons! in the score and the accompanying scene is amazing), I don't remember 3 besides Kai's Theme being basically I"m So Sorry by Imagine Dragons.
So uh we'll see.
