I don’t know why anyone would think the Kid’s Choice Awards would be a better place to release the full trailer than the Oscars. Does anyone care about the Kid’s Choice Awards?

Donatello sounds pretty young.

The turtles sound young, I suppose, but Donatello sounds like a little too young for a teenager. I guess he’s supposed to be a late bloomer. Speaking of which, why do we keep giving Donatello glasses? I know he’s the smart one, but that doesn’t mean he has to look like a stereotypical nerd.

I noticed. That’s why I said that I almost thought he’d be voicing Casey Jones, before it was revealed that he’d be voicing Bebop.

A single comment from Zachary Levi about the movie being more expensive than the last doesn’t really seem like definitive confirmation on what the budget is. Also, Zachary Levi was already in Marvel movies.

The more I think about the fact that WBD expects Lord of the Rings to be their answer to Star Wars, the more pathetic and cynical the whole thing comes across. I know Hollywood generally doesn’t like taking risks, especially not nowadays, but come on, a LotR expanded universe? Could you be anymore desperate? Everything I’ve been hearing about how David Zaslav is trying to run the company has made it clear that the man has a serious case of Disney envy, and I can’t decide if that’s hilarious or sad.

Zachary Levi sort of comes across like what Chris Pratt would be if he were less successful. I still don’t know if I’d call him a D-list.

It’s nice that Pandora isn’t like Star Wars, where there’s only a single biome for each planet, but it’s still weird if all the Na’vi speak the same language.

The way I see it, the first movie is sort of a throwback to various 80’s kid’s movies, so the over the top bullies are part of that throwback.

Jessica Alba was pretty young at the time, but Kate Mara was not. She was actually the oldest person in the cast.

If it’s not a hit, that won’t be good for WBD’s bottom line. They’re in massive debt right now.

A large chunk of the debt the company is in is because of the merger. Discovery was pretty much the only company dumb enough to actually accept AT&T’s offer to buy WB.

Is it fair to assume that Zaslav suing Paramount over South Park is just part of his desperate attempt to help get his company out of the massive debt it’s in?

The only way that would happen is if Rowling decided to sell it, and not only does that seem unlikely, but there’s no way they’d be able to afford it.
