  1. The hell is that supposed to mean? Anyway, this looks a TON more beautiful, color popping and vibrant in 4K!
  2. Did they announce a release date for this at D23? If it was going to come out next May, wouldn't it make sense to say so?
  3. So when is this thing even coming out? No mention at all during D23. 2024 I guess? Probably November or December 2024?
  4. Yeah true and that's what I've always thought. SDCC gave the goods and people were like "wait until D23!". I always thought they never release anything from D23 publicly. Little Mermaid was the exception and was the highlight of the weekend. Probably don't want to stomp on that parade. But...I mean....a title for Indy 5 and a release date for Ahsoka would have at least been nice!
  5. No Ahsoka or Acolyte? Okay a FEW pics of Ahsoka but NOTHING on Acolyte? WTF? They can't even get a release schedule for three projects when MCU has a schedule for like 10 projects!!! And no title for Indy 5? Wow Lucasfilm is a disaster!
  6. So a casual Youtube watcher cannot see the dislikes? That's weird. I just assumed everyone liked everything LOL
  7. Everything I saw on YT was overwhelmingly positive without any dislikes. The only reviewer I saw that was negative was some twisted looking puppet guy with a mustache who will probably give me nightmares now.
  8. No full trailer for this tonight? I figured this was the ideal time, 2 months out and at D23. Interesting!
  9. This looks great! Casting gold for sure! They still have 9 months. THIS is the way to show a first look. Iconic song with beautiful lead and great underwater shots! Racists will wear out. Let them hang themselves!
  10. I'm also guessing we will see a full length trailer to the Willow series on D+. Would that be under the Lucasfilm umbrella? Looking forward to that. Also, is the live action movies panel (such as Little Mermaid) tonight?
  11. Just finished episode 1 and quite liked it. Not taking stock in the negativity, just saying that the haters are predictable and are steering the audience reactions. But we all know that. I agree that the first episode was a bit slow and could use more action, but I think that would be what knocks it down just a little. They are telling separate stories of separate characters who will come together likely as a kind of fellowship later on. If people really do honestly hate it for how slow it is, they have to realize that most shows are a bit like this. Loki was MUCH slower for much longer than this and didn't tell much of any story until Sylvie showed up. Nothing happened and nobody even spoke much for the first bit of Mandalorian. And even Obi-Wan dragged a bit to start. This is an 8-hour fest. So they spend more time getting to know the ins and outs of the characters whereas that would take up about 20 minutes in a 2-hour movie. So the ratio is the same. Personally, I think much of the complaining about not enough action is an American phenomenon of wanting to be thrilled all the time. I think the 84% that the critics give it fits.
  12. You're mixing up my personal opinion (not stated yet) with the patterns of reactions we/I've seen and heard and read. I'm simply going by what I perceive to be others' reactions.
