10% seems quite small but when we put it into the long run of big movie it can be around $60M-$70M
I think whatever the final number for DOM ends up at, we can +10%-15% of that number to get the number of no/pre-pandemic level.
There is always certain amount of causal movie-goers who are not fan of anything. This pandemic can make those people stay at home and wait for the digital release.
I think whatever the final number ends up with, we can +20% of that for the no/pre-pandemic number. Covid is hitting internaltional market harder than domestic currently.
Beside the fan, I think there is always a huge amount of casual moviegoers who are not fan of anything. These people just go to the cinema when they have time. Even with a movie with great WOM, it doen't mean they have the urge to see it if time doesn't allow. They can skip it.
