just watched "escape plan " it was actually pretty good movie, i liked the plot of a guy escaping jail/assessing security as a profession if you discard fact that these two veterans actors can still kick ass instead of getting their arses whopped and that they're smart guys with body builders bodies , its a very enjoyable entertaining movie!

watching half blood prince! now dh1 , i like watching the last four films back to back

had no idea this was on tonight , i was busy watching BLUE JASMINE screener! cate blanchett is perfect , jasmine is such a complex character , i now understand what she said about her character in an interview i saw a rare breed of actress part of a restricted circle among whom queen meryl and emma thompson ! have to say woody allen has a knack for casting , its like he writes the roles and sees already who will be perfect for it ! another movie that bumps AH down down down the stream i see AH won best ensemble well in all honesty its the only redeemable thing in that soufflé of a movie ! happy for matthew, lupita who looks flawless , jared leto rock star (groupies must be over the moon)

i knew i should have downloaded that darn screener for 12 yrs when i saw it but i wanted to see it on the big screen and my f*****g theatre has yet to show it and per new movies coming this month and in february its not scheduled at all but blahhhh AH is for february and now i can't find the screener its been removed ughhhh all 48 torrents lollllllll life sucks for a poor cinephile so far i have yet to see 12YAS , philomena, captain phillips and nebraska so order of preference of the 5 i have seen in the best picture race is 1- her 2- wolf of wall street 3-dallas buyers club 4-gravity 5-american hustle

here's a thread for anyone who watches this awesome show on the CW about the originals vampires to discuss episodes (they had a long stint as guest stars on the vampires diaries and were/still are so popular they got their own spinoff ) which i'm so happy about as i couldnt stand TVD anymore so glad i still get to see some of my fav vamps on tv having the spotlight on them

loved olicity in this agree they could have done more with sean mayer villain as i was very happy to see a firefly actor on the show reminded me when fans would geek out over battlestar galactica actors appearing on smallville! still it was a good episode for a return episode ,and reminding everyone where characters stand , and take into account 5 weeks have passed since last episode a lot went on off-screen and we're just getting back into the groove of what's to come laurel was a bit annoying but that's par for episode , i'm thinking you're going to take the word of a cuckoo woman over the guy you're sorta dating /sorta friending (is this a word?) with and wouldnt she be on a no visiting policy with him being warned if anyone comes snooping around if he was hiding his mother (not that i don't believe what she said isnt true, but laurel shouldnt at this point )

i've seen AH , GRAVITY, AOC so far out of the three queen meryl rules easily !! but i love cate blanchett so wouldnt mind her winning at all , i really have to watch blue jasmine i'll try hard tonight

i've seen gravity and prisoners and think prisoners should win but have no problem with gravity winning either but since they'll likely win other awards why not give this to prisoners so it gets something since jackman and gyllenhal didnt get nominated

i've seen AH, WoWS and DBC for this category have to agree jared leto is awesome in this role shoud win ! jonah hill was funny in wolf but i just don't like the actor so can't ever root for him, as for bradley cooper who cares pfff i like the actor but don't care for his movie so that's that!

i've only seen AH and AOC for this category so based on that julia roberts but that will likely change once i see 12YAS

ok i've been there with a few movies i've loved! i don't even hate the movie, i think i said in my review of it (RTM) that acting is ok its the movie that bored me for the most part and then to boot i saw a string of films after that blew me away (acting and storywise)and got me finally excited for the awards race

you know futurist its very possible to dislike AH just based on fact its not that good really on its own and suffers when compared to other movies that are just leagues better than it in all aspect at the very least last year even though i was rooting all the way for ARGO , Lincoln was a worthy adversary which i also liked just not as much as Argo

can you imagine sandra getting a 2nd oscar before cate? lol and mind you i love sandra she's my fav romantic lead actress bummed for daniel bruhl , he was good in RUSH btw i wouldnt have minded waking up at 5 to see hemsworth , he's so pretty aww, gosh his wife must love waking up to his pretty face / blue eyes

unless 12YAS wins best pic i will just pretend this movie year didnt exist i would be the happiest person on earth among fellow leo fans and non fans who think he's been long overdue for an oscar but i've also been burned on that subject so not going there ! i really have to see 12YAS so i can make up my mind for good ! i'd even be ok if GRAVITY won because most films listed are a gazillion times better than AH in all categories without even sweating it i'd love for meryl to win again but ehh i'm ok with whoever wins , i have yet to see blue jasmine (might watch it tonight) cannot believe the love for AH are they smoking some mushrooms? anyhoo guess we'll see

well per habit , i'm going to bed now and probably won't wake up before 8am so missed it , aw well i'll get all the info in one sweep merry nominations everybody if MM and leto gets one , well deserved dallas buyers club was great acting on their part better than AH , another movie kicking it down my list of oscar best pic hopefuls

easy A! McConaughey scared the beejeezus out of me with how thin he looked and jared leto too but he's always been a bit like that a boy's body by that i mean i doubt he had to lose as much mass as MM considering different body types! anyhoo to bring a bit of levity to such a grave subject , i during a scene or two did wonder if a certain phallic appendage had shrink along with their previous body mass its just sad to think the FDA screwed so many people over like that , and to see certain doctors camp on the established position and forgetting that they are first and foremost scientist and swear an oath to heal not help processes that are bad for their patient health at the very least consider all the research before siding with pharmaceutical companies , so much wrong done because every country was doing their thing instead of making it a concerted effort i'm still amazed all these years later they still haven't cured aids , but at least you can live with it hmm jared was pretty neat in this , i mean i always thought the guy had way too pretty eyes for a man but i thought it was not cool they let him die off-screen when he was such a part of the story and that MM character didnt get to say goodbye ! but i love how everyone rallied around him trying to keep this club going he did good , stayed alive 7 yrs more , cleaned his act up and ended up helping lots of people he didnt care and couldnt stand at all in the beginning because of bigotry and they turned out to care for him more than his own people from his previous life one thing that wasnt particularly original was the theme of cowboy country and gays ! are they trying to drive home some subliminal point ? after breakback mountain would have been nice to see another environment , only reason i didnt give this an A+ is because i didnt cry , i mean i cried or at least teared up for BM and PHILADELPHIA hello waterworks next movies with gays in it , i want it to be upbeat (that 's 2 aids-related ones and a romeo&romeo star-crossed one) and i want them to be the main characters their thing , now find me some actors without them looking sick or losing weight ooh wait i forgot about "the kids are alright" that was a good movie with a gay couple living normal life okay next blue jasmine ...probably tomorrow unless gasp she's not nominated
