i'm pissed tommy broke up with laurel, but on the other hand to hell with her, i can't stand her and i believe tommy and oliver deserve better than her ! for now i'm watching but i will never be onboard with oliver dating laurel , getting back together , he cheated on her with HER SISTER no self-respecting woman goes back to a man who does that, huge no-no ! yeah oliver also did a big no-no this episode , he broke the bros before ladies code, sometimes you gotta know when to gave the guy who's been supporting you his time to shine and your full attention!

cochran, the guy who made first contact ! one of my fav trek film btw...i just love the idea of how history portrays people in hindsight (slightly rewrites how things went down) and there they get to see him in real and he's not quite who they thought he was yet essentially he did make that flight that would change earth's history

i don't have cable , i have french cable but i hardly watch that as it is only for sports ,but since i dooo follow american tv shows and wait to see them online within hrs or next day sunday is easily the best, at any time of the year there's a great drama on be it HBO or SHOWTIME or AMC in order sunday monday wednesday and thursday ...tuesday friday and saturday last take the cake for nothing on not even on french cable that's to tell you how lame it is

i just watched the pilot and its not bad ,a pretty good episode although i have lots of questions i didnt understand at all the intro and what exactly happened to earth i get it aliens invaded and earth was terraformed but then 30 yrs later there seems to be a plethora of alien species living on earth among humans but apart from that not bad, i'm going to watch episode 2 later...and it was quite funny that i watched this a few days after seeing oblivion which has basic same plot , earth invaded, looks nothing like earth from before didnt see any thread for it so here it is for who wants to discuss the show and episodes here , i guess i'll give it a go , hope it doesnt fizzle out like revolution lol which i haven't watched since the holiday break back in december, and by then i was dragging my feet to watch episode...

i've always wondered about this though why americans in this instance (as i know their not the only country citizens who do this) live beyond their means just because they can? its like on that show the big loser where a challenge was to eat as much cupcakes as you could and win a pass for the week weigh-in or resist the temptation and work out hard and hope you lost enough weight to stay in the game another week on your own merit and sweat, basically reaching your goal the hard way which isnt a sure thing or the easy way which might seem a sure thing in the now but not the long run! i always tell my nephews its the same basics no matter the situation you're in

finally watched this....pretty good but it kinda ended abruptly ...i wasnt expecting this but as i read a few reviews here and mind you i had no idea what the film was about beforehand it makes sense if the film was only focusing on that day before all mayhem publicly broke out loved the acting by all the cast, i know what the movie is about and yeah pretty much agree they are the scum of the earth but i had never bothered to see things from their perspective , and why should i , i'm part of the regular people who don't know anything about that game and wouldnt know how to begin playing it , its a cutthroat business , cold calculating and unfeeling yikes can you imagine being someone like jeremy irons character, practically behaving like a god above it all , he had some really good quotes that left me pensive , we mere mortals see how morally wrong it is, but he only sees the patterns he functions on another level feelings don't ever compute in his equation " So you think we might have put a few people out of business today. That its all for naught. You've been doing that everyday for almost forty years Sam. And if this is all for naught then so is everything out there. Its just money; its made up. just came back from watching oblivion , i liked it a lot! visually the movie is a beauty, loved the atmosphere of the film tom cruise was great in it, even that girl , the whole time i was more suspicious of vika seeing how calm and by the book she was until .... i wanted to know more about the tent? the alien spaceship , didnt it remind you guys a bit of id4 alien mothership interior design only no aliens were seen left to be a mystery please tell me i'm not the only one who screamed OMG ITS JAIMIE LANNISTER , right after i kinda facepalmed coz i said it pretty loud , good thing i was in the back and it was a seasoned adult crowd, didnt see any kids or teens but then its an afternoon sessions which has a more mature crowd i have to say tom cruise sure has an eye for futuristic scifi films, i can't think of one he's done i didnt like! i'll edit after i read a few comments, first posted this in box office thread of the film but fear of spoiler police reminded me this was the more appropriate place

omg this movie is crass, i actually skipped forward here and there! adam sandler's character is such a turn off, if i was his kid ,i'd run , or better i'd man up admit its my bum of a father and get security to kick his ass off the property and slap a restraining order on him too the guy just shows up and disrupt his son's new life in the worst possible way and i hated how hsi kid behaved around him like he brought out the worst in him i couldnt help thinking that's mark zuckenberg the entire time LOLLL i did laugh sometimes but not because scene was funny but because of how bad and over the top it was, ok one good scene susan sarandon as the older version of the teacher, that was brave of her to do that role!

loved the blackfish and nephew in rivverun, oh and love the table scene with the council, tywin stoic face as everyone hopped to a chair it must be trying to be surrounded by that lot when you're fighting and strategizing a real war!

pride and prejudice north and south john adams band of brothers i always watch whatever hbo or bbc spits out in that genre , you can always count on great writing , production values and overall qualities

maybe they can get butler to tag along in the 24 hrs movie! hope this means good thing for him coz romcoms are a mess with him , i couldnt stomach "playing for keeps" past 1st first 15mn i fast forwarded to the end

just came back from watching this, left a post in crowd reports, i gave this a solid B because its better than i expected ,better executed than red dawn , and lived up to its good recommendations on this site! but yeah it felt like a made for tv movie but one of the best by far because usually there not as good as this anyway, secret services guys were laughable, but then you have to not think watching this otherwise can't enjoy, a big house like that and one cannon to defend it, which is taken over and modified by the koreans pfff butler though was awesome in this, love his bit with the kid, could have lose the wife, would have made him better as a loner-type!
