Noctis
And there goes all credibility for the list. Have you read all the books? Or even one? No, I don't think you have. Anyway, can someone link me to the books ranking? I can't seem to find it. Yay for Potter - brilliant series.
redfirebird2008
Have you read all the books? Or even one? No, I don't think you have. Yeah, I have read the first one. And I stand by my statement earlier. Credibility of the list shot to hell.
DAR
I also want to address something on the music side. Nevermind at 10. I always felt it was a good but nowhere near great album. Which is how I feel about Nirvana, they were a good band and the only reason why they get put up on this pedestal is because Kurt Cobain decided to put a shotgun in his mouth. From the 90's alternative rock/grunge movement Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains were better bands.

I agree with your sentiment in general, but I prefer Nirvana to Pearl Jam or STP. Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and AIC are all better than Nirvana. Slightly different genre, but Rage Against the Machine's first album destroys Nevermind.

MovieMan89
Wait a second, no Sunset Boulevard?Yeah that caught my eye right away. That's my second favorite really old movie after Casablanca.
MovieMan89
EW's lists always seem trolltastic to me, deliberately leaving off or ordering things differently just to "get people talking", and this one is on exception. THE HURT LOCKER ranked above LAWRENCE OF ARABIA? Bitch, please.Yeah pretty much my thoughts exactly on this list. Hurt locker on there brings the big lols. It's just to get a rouse from people. I don't agree with the list at all btw just wanted to share it with you guys since their site only has the top 10 of the list posted. Only thing I truly agree with is ROTK being the highest ranked 2000s film.

MovieMan89
Twin Peaks down at #41, below ROSEANNE, FRIENDS, and THE REAL WORLD.List is worthless.I was actually really happy to see Roseanne make the top 20. I think the show often gets brushed off because of how crazy Roseanne is in real life but it really is one of the best and most realistic sitcoms out there. Excluding that awful last season that is, which I like to pretend just doesn't exist. Edited July 2, 2013 by MovieMan89
