I think it's fair to say that Sandler is generally more consistent in bringing in that fan base as he has more 100 million movies over the last 10 years, but recently, they've both been hit or miss.

Very true.15 years ago critics thought his career would fade away soon (he had terrible reviews everywhere, only midschoolers really loved him at the time, I thought he was annoying and immature)

Granted I haven't seen GU2 and it will likely be sometime. But I have to believe there's more charm and wit in one minute of Hotel Transylvania than all of GU2

Eh, I'm not really that invested in Pacific Rim's run after I was kinda lukewarm on the movie itself. Still waiting for a big budget movie to blow me away this summer. Elysium seems like the last chance.

I remember seeing Kung Fu Hustle on opening night years back ... and I was the only person there.

Quality-wise, it's been absolutely dreadful. The worst in a while.

Hmm. All I can hope for is legs. IMAX 3D show was sold out tonight, crowd really dug it.

I saw Godzilla 2000 on it's OD, I was among the only 5 people in the audience that were not Asian. (Maybe less )

And I guess some people don't like it when you laugh at a really cheesy film like that (Hey I was making fun of the visuals and some guy got really mad, I was not loud or anything, but gee this was crazy)

At least Ferell tries different things. He will try dramas and he did a whole comedy in Spanish so he doesn't do the same thing every time like Sandler.
