Weird that there seems to be a designated range now for original sci-fi. Oblivion, District 9 and Super 8 all opened in this same range as PR.

 

It's good there's an audeince for sci-fi, they just need to have realistic budgets.

 

Or let Nolan direct them.

Which was why Abrams was very smart to keep S8 budget to $50 million. Obviously it wasn't the same scale as those other films, but ended up being far more profitable.

TDK is a landmark film, one of the 25 best ever made imo.

 

Batman 89 is average

Batman Returns is almost as bad as Hellboy 2

Batman Forever was fun because of the amazing cast

Batman and Robin was hilariously bad

Batman Begins is almost as good as TDK

TDKR is almost as bad as Batman and Robin

 

Batman 89: ***1/4 out of *****

Batman Returns: *1/4

Batman Forever: **1/2

Batman & Robin: 1/2*

Batman Begins: ****3/4 (BEST ORIGIN FILM EVER!!!)

The Dark Knight: ***** (BEST CBM SEQUEL/CBM EVER!!!)

The Dark Knight Rises: ****1/4 (BEST 3RD CBM FILM OF A TRILOGY EVER!!!)
