I highly doubt that. Last 4 SRK movies have under-performed massively (not counting DZ) and 3 of them were flops. I think the movie will do very well but 800cr is a bridge too far for him right now.

you missed the part, *if Zero is liked*. Yeah his last films were pathetic, they failed but he is still bigger star than Aamir.

I doubt the budget will be even half of that. That's just a big bloated official figure to hype the film.

The film production budget is speculated to be around 150cr without Rajnikanth,Shankar and Akshay kumar remunerations.

At 80million budget , you can get hollywood vfx quality.

top opening weekend grosser is still bahubali2 with over 200cr , second is Robo 2.0 with around 105cr gross.

Both films gross are for all versions worldwide.

For only Hindi language (Bollywood) , it's Thugs of Hindustan.

4 day Weekend for Robo 2.0 is 365cr gross worldwide including all languages , second highest after Bahubali2

Remurenations itself are ₹200cr Approx. COP is ₹200-225cr.

Then there is P&A of ₹50cr and ₹50cr plus finance overheads.

Inflated numbers. The India gross in weekend was ₹240cr (₹175cr FSS).

Will mostly close at ₹450cr India and $20mn Overseas for ~₹590cr worldwide.

Yeah best so far if you dont consider Secret Superstar. Zero will challenge it, if well made can do ₹800cr globally.

Ohh if you are asking about weekend, its ₹335cr 4 days and ₹250cr FSS.

At the same time , looks like you are saying lowest possible or deflated numbers.

Who would say Mummy (2017) has a 150m+ budget? 2.0 looks visually better than it.

After all the comments of shitty articles I've been seeing and little negativity around 2.0 here, I had to chip in. The movie is not at all bad.
I agree that it has less story but the visual effects balance that, superbly done by the team and Shankar. There are some scenes which may seem repetitive, and good emotional content is what it's lacking. Which is the driving point of the first film along with okay-good Vfx and made it a classic.  GA seems to like the film very much and we can see that in the B.O numbers. Absolutely demolishing the records even with the bland promotions and weak Teaser/Trailers.

Movie has very strong WOM especially Hindi version. It has held very strongly today. Lifetime will be 200+ nett in North India. Overall 375cr WW share is needed to breakeven so I still think it's possible it can do 750+ WW lifetime total. Being 3D exclusive dented it's collections a bit in the OW considering people were not interested in 2D shows when 3D were sold out but it might just help it from hereon as it won't face any competition in that regard.

2.0 (Hindi) First Monday Business

2.0 (Hindi) was excellent on its first Monday as it grossed 13.50 crore and took its total to around 109 crore nett. The film showed an all India drop of 25% while many areas dropped less. East Punjab saw the biggest drop with a fall of 35%.

The film is doing strong business all over and is actually only the fifth universally accepted film across all circuits this year after Sanju, Padmaavat (the ones it was screened in), Baaghi 2 and Stree. The film is not set for a solid run till Zero and could even go on post Zero and into the new year. the collections on Friday will determine whether the film can be a SUPER HIT or BLOCKBUSTER film.

The first three day collections of 2.0 (Hindi) are as follows

Thursday - 20,00,00,000 apprx

Friday - 18,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 24,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 33,25,00,000 apprx

Monday - 13,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,08,75,00,000 apprx

The Tamil and Telugu versions have also held up extremely well. Infact its rare to see a big film hold up so well in these parts but this is mainly as some places the start was not the bumper opening you would expect.

The film will also have a long run across the markets in South.

2.0 All India Day Five Update - Maintains Very Well

2.0 grossed maintained very well across the country in all formats as it grossed 29 crore nett apprx on Monday. This takes its all India total to 258 crore nett with the Hindi version contributing 42%. It will be a little more in terms of Gross figures.

The film will easily be over 300 crore nett for the week and may finish the extended first week with business of 325 crore nett across India. This is a little short of Sanju which is the top film of the year in India. The all India collections of 2.0 are from 6900 screens across the country while Sanju was a 4200 screen release.

The GROSS number for all India is 336 crore appprx. The first five day NETT collections 2.0 across India are as follows.

Thursday - 62,31,00,000

Friday - 44,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 55,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 68,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 29,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 2,58,31,00,000 apprx

The collections in Overseas are $14.75 million apprx in five days which is 103 crore. The film was released on 2000 screens in Overseas and has done very well despite a mid range start on Thursday. It was a working day on Thursday but big South Indian films tend to score big on the opening day especially is USA which did not happen with 2.0. The Hindi version is has not done well due to a horrible release. In UK it has just £120k in five days and Gulf is $825k in five days.

The worldwide figure is 439 crore in five days and the recovery on the film so far is around 200 crore in five days from theatres across the world. 200 crore is the apprs distributor share that the film has picked up in five days.

The film had recovered around 200 crore from sale of satellite, digital and music which means the total recovery till date is 400 crore. A 500 crore recovery on the film is locked and above that will depend on how well the film can sustain in the coming weeks and then Far East, Japan and other fledgling markets.

If the film had released last year as planned then it would be in the plus already in just five days. But the issues with VFX and delays added around 175 crore to the cost of the film and it remains to be seen how far recovery can go at the end of its theatrical run.

Doing around 2x the 5-day should be ceiling for 2.0 irrespective of the language. So using 258cr All India 5-day Nett, 525cr will be tough to breach. 500cr is not a lock either but I think it will get there.
