Indian Box Office Thread | Jawan overtakes Pathaan, becomes highest grossing Indian movie of 2023

Skyfall made 1.7m this weekend. It's total gross has reached 8.5m in 10 days. That equates to 46 crore in local currency, which is already more than QoS's entire run.But it will practically be losing all screens due to two local mega-openers opening on Tuesday.Should finish with 50 crore I suppose.

I am thinking 75 crore 6-day for JTHJ and 125 crore total.For SoS, around 65/100 crore.

The difference between openings of JTHJ and SoS is looking to be bigger. Either JTJH will go up or SoS will go down.But one thing is for sure.... this will be the biggest week in Indian box office history.

JTHJ should go up from my prediction while SoS will go down. I just went by screen count ratio for the two, but it seems JTHJ is playing more in premium multiplexes.JTHJ has good WOM and it should enter all-time Top-5.SoS has mixed reception and it has almost no chance at 100 crore now.

Its a Yash Copra film so I think it will have a decent love story.Music is nowhere near Veer Zaara though.That movie had all great songs...

So we're looking at around 18.75 crores for JTHJ and 13.0 crores for SOS going by BoxOfficeCapsule (this week's the first time I've even heard of this site) numbers adjusted to BOI's figures adjusted by the same ratio we saw for Tuesday (12.5 - 15 JTHJ, 8.5 - 10.5 SOS)

I don't know how Taran Adarsh gets his numbers, but I find BOI to be more reliable, since they also give territorial breakdowns.Anyway, we should get official numbers from the distributor after the weekend for JTHJ at least.
