I've mentioned this in a few threads, Jab Tak Hai Jaan sold out two night shows at the local theater here in Toronto. I know there is a huge Indian community here and Bollywood movies always do well here, but I have never seen a film sell out that many shows in one night.

Why is the Indian market so small considering it's ridiculously large population?I know it is less than developed than China...etc but still.

The market is big. But the majority still watch movies at single screens where the average cost of a ticket is less than a USD.
