The47th
The writing in the last episode was not good story-wise. Some of the plot twists felt too forced, and it doesn't make sense to dispatch one of the Queens of Darkness already. Still, I enjoyed Ursula's backstory. OUAT is alway great on those. The47th
This latest twist makes obvious how much more versatile Lana Parrilla is as an actress compared to Ginnifer Goodwin. The last one looks too stale in this version of the character. Actually, I think there are two clear groups of actors in the show: the great ones (Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, Rebecca Mader, Kristin Bauer) and the ones that simply fit their roles. I'd say Jennifer Morrison is in between.

It's hard to have a truly stellar cast.
FrozenUnicorn
Just watched the season finale. Two words: HOLY CRAP. I loved the alternate versions of the characters, glad that Henry got spotlight time, and found the Captsin Swan moments adorable. And Emma being the new Dark One? Not good for the residents of Storybrooke! And kinda stinks we have to wait til fall to see what's next. The47th
Finally got to watch the finale. Great episode that closes a GREAT season, for me the best one since S1. Plus, the story doesn't feel as artificially stretched as it did at the end of S3, when it was almost like they just brought a new villain for the sake of it. It feels like the show was always destined to reach this point. In fact, it fits as the setting for the final stage. On the downside, the directing and the writing were sloppy at points, for example with characters knowing details that they weren't supposed to. And those terrible-looking VFX that are no excuse, really, because there are others that don't look so cheap. One detail for which I'm very excited about S5 is that they set Maleficient and Zelina up for keep showing up in the future, with the quest for Lilly's father and Zelina's baby coming. Omario
Good 4th season. Feels like season 5 may be the last though. Loved Elsa and Anna. Beautiful actresses that looked the part and also acted accordingly. Especially Anna. I was hoping the Snow Queen would also be the White Witch from Narnia. I fear that was an opportunity missed. Would have made it more interesting. As for the second half it was a bit bumpy. I'm glad Zelena is back as i loved her as the Wicked Witch. The whole author business was not to my liking but it turned out better than i expected. Lilly didnt really do anything. Whats the point? i was hoping she would become the Dark One instead as then there would have been a reason for her presence. Anyways im still wracking my brain on who her father could be. There are not a lot of many big name dragons in fairy tales except for Maleficent. Maybe Arthur Pendragon? get it? nah lol. Maybe its Merlin? 2 birds with one stone if he is. Who am i kidding.. Its Mushu
