You make no sense here. Explain?

You claim Signs being one of your favourite movies proves that you don't only watch kids movies. Signs isn't really something I'd call a very adult movie.

Predator is such an overrated movie. Just a dumb action flick with no story. 

 

Predator is the crucial middle child of the Val Verde Trilogy. After stopping the coup plot in Commando, John Matrix returns to the military under a new identity to protect his family from reprisals and gets sent back into Val Verde to help put down rebels fighting the new government. After he escapes, the government upon learning of his alien story ships him off the grid and decides to get completely involved with Val Verde militarily, deposing its leader. As the leader is finally on his way to the USA to face justice during Christmas time, disaffected military commandos seize control of Dulles International Airport as part of an elaborate terrorist plot to free the Val Verde general and make millions of dollars. Only a blue-collar rough and tumble cop stands in their way.
