Thanks, E, for posting those updates, but while the sellouts are good, they aren't spectacular. It's performing about as you might expect a 130-150m opener to do -- about how the Twilight and HPs did around here.

You think IM won't be featured prominently in TA2?Why?Disney/Marvel gave RDJ the GDP of a small nation to star in two more Avenger movies.

Anecdotal evidence I know but the evening sell outs have picked up a great deal in my town out on the west coast including an IMAX sell out.  Wouldn't be shocked if this ends up closer to the mid 60 end of the range discussed.  Not the super high numbers I know most expected, but it's a successful opening by any reasonable objective standard.  Lionsgate will still see a massive profit on this.

Hunger Games hype is already waning it seems. Mockingjay 1 will likely not reach 300m simply because of the type of film it is. Part 2 should have a small increase.

All it needs if it opens to 150m is 2,67x multplier to reach 400m.
