Lol...The Avengers was a great movie and that's coming from me who isn't a Marvel fanboy (although I love a lot of their output). Very few movies carry out their purpose as effectively as the Avengers. The movie connected with people because it was just that good.

CF is a good movie for HG fans that know the material by heart. Avengers is a good popcorn movie for comics fans and total noobs*.

(*I thought I would be totally bored out of my mind since I had not seen any of the MCU movies save for IM1/2 and surprisingly I was genuinely interested how the team was build up because the origin stories were out of the plot. As a matter of fact, most of the general audience just jumped on the bandwagon without getting lost and that's a testament to Whedon's script that managed to be easy enough to understand and quite self-contained for the noobs even if it is like a season finale coming after 5 episodes because that could have easily been a Marvel All Stars Showdown only appealing to fanboys).

I disagree. I had next to no prior knowledge of HG, I haven't even seen the original, but CF still managed to get me invested and engaged in the story, at least up until the actual games themselves, where I kind of lost interest.

I totally lost interest at that point and the final revelation just sealed those as pointless. But the first part, I was trying my hardest to be interested in this universe but I found it dull and repetitive:

Katniss is carried around in a district - Ankward speech- Rebel - Retaliation rinse/repeat with fashion exhibitions in between then the Arena. I lost interest as time was flying by. Malone and that Claflin guy tried to inject some brash bravado and witty charm but to no avail, I was no longer engrossed by the movie.(It does not help that Gale and Katniss romance feels flat as Hemsworth is wooden. I felt no attachment or genuine chemistry between them to feel their love bond so when Gale disappeared off the screen I just forgot about him).

(Can someone explain me what is Lenny Kravitz's purpose in this movie since I thought Elizabeth Banks is supposed to be the over-the-top Capitol fashion diva supervisor to team Katniss?)

Goffe, your signature disturbs me more than any other signature I have ever seen.

Congratulations.

it's not my fault, I lost a bet to Iceroll. I wish I could ignore my own signature .

Perhaps you're male? Do you have a vagina underneath your penis?

ALSO...what does being a male have anything to do with TA over CF?

You have a point females loved TA and males loved CF but I still think one film likely is more popular with one gender nevertheless.
