Phil in the Blank
This shouldn't even be a thread for at least a couple of months. People always get caught up in the hype of a new release.
tawasal
Where are all the fake acounts coming from, that are voting for CF.
Walt Disney
I can't vote because I haven't seen CF and don't plan to. I saw The Hunger games and I didn't like it. Therefore, I won't be seeing the sequel. However, even though I will not vote, I can say that if I did see CF, I would vote for TDKR.
Gopher
CF, no question. It also feels about an hour less than TDKR despite only running 20 minutes short.
The Panda
Catching Fire based off the mere fact The Dark Knight Rises was a let down and Catching Fire was a pleasant surprise, plus Catching Fire was a better movie.

Just going to say I disliked the Hunger Games but I liked Catching Fire (really liked it actually), it's a major step up from it and fixes many of the problems. I had your opinion before I saw it but I'll say it converted me.

The Toymaker
I disliked The Dark Knight Rises, but it wins this poll by a country mile. Catching Fire is shockingly bad. Edited November 26, 2013 by Algren™
Heretic
CF, no question. It also feels about an hour less than TDKR despite only running 20 minutes short. So true. TDKR dragged like a motherfucka.

K1stpierre
That's your opinion, deal with it. TDKR has higher rating EVERYWHERE. Period. rukaio101
TDKR is better reviewed, it's not really a matter of opinion. Except on Rotten Tomatoes, where it's currently 1% behind Catching Fire. And 4% behind when it comes to audience ratings. In hindsight, perhaps next time you should actually check before claiming something like that.
K1stpierre
TDKR is better reviewed, it's not really a matter of opinion. Nope. As already stated, CF is a tad bit higher. Not that it really matters. I don't care for what the critics say, in terms of debating which is better.

The Panda
It has far better avg. rating on RT than CF and better rating too in IMDB.Never use the imdb rating as a trustworthy source, ESPECIALLY on a film with Nolan's name attached. The ratings are heavily skewed based on fanboys who spam rate a film in order to prove a point or something. IMDB TDKR 8.6 (with 696k votes) CF 8.3 (with 53k votes) RT Critics TDKR 8.0 CF 7.6 (.4 points of difference in +7 average is a huge difference) RT Users TDKR 4.3 (1.09m votes) CF 4.5 (189k votes) Metacritic TDKR 78 CF 75 Metacritic Users TDKR 84 (2.8k votes) CF 84 (257 votes) it's way too early to put any faith in user ratings, but one thing is for sure, it will have a big drop. try again.
