Heretic
I'm completely illiterate when it comes to extrapolating. If frozen does 29 what does that look like for the weekend/5 day?Can do 70m 3 day, 95m-ish 5 day.
druv10
If 29M sticks for Frozen, that's 10M over Tangled's performance on the same Friday! WOM on it is beyond tremendous. It has held better than Tangled every day and including Friday jump is better 145-160% vs. 142%. I expect Saturday hold will be better and Sunday hold should be similar for 72-74M weekend and 99-101M 5-day weekend. 300M is happening folks.
lilmac
No film grossing $30m on a Friday has NOT had a $70m+ weekend.
K1stpierre
So CF can break the biggest second Friday record, will break the the biggest thanksgiving weekend record and 5 day record, could also break the biggest second weekend record for a 2D movie, and has a very very small chance at breaking the record of having the smallest second weekend drop ever for a film that opened above 120 million. Amazing And Frozen is just annihilating Tangled right now. WOW k1stpierre likes

lilmac
So we're talking like 73m for Frozen, and maybe 77 for CF? I think Frozen will perform better on Saturday and Sunday as far as incr/decr go. I see it winning the weekend but that's just me.
Fancyarcher
No film grossing $30m on a Friday has NOT had a $70m+ weekend. Well it could happen if a horror movie manages to make 30+ opening day.

Fancyarcher
They will both drop tomorrow by a very small amount based on passed years. Frozen will probably have a better drop or small increase though. Edited November 30, 2013 by Fancyarcher
