lilmac
Has anyone seen Lone Survivor? I heard it's pretty good which would put it squarely among Underrated Films of 2014. It was not getting good buzz until 2 or so days before release.
lilmac
Having seen Lone Survivor twice now and notice how it got better with a 2nd viewing, this is squarely in the underrated category. This movie came out of nowhere. I saw the previews and each time thought "Netflix" but I gave it a chance based on the glowing reviews and it didn't disappoint. 2014 is off to a good start. PS: I think of it as a 2014 film
Michael Gary Scott
I wouldn't call it underrated it got good reviews critically and by people and is doing well at the box office.
lilmac
The Lego Movie was an underrated 2014 film. IMO. It had the buzz but it went way beyond my expectations.

Jessie
Robocop. Much better than it had any right to be. People were bashing it before release then when the end product turned out not too bad, the haters over exaggerated just how bad it was because they didn't want to admit they were wrong. It's not the greatest film ever but people have given it far too much hate.
