JACK RYAN franchise at less than $30M? I think it is weak and Paramount seems not very interested in pushing it. With all the spying allegations worldwide, the studio wants to downplay its big tent-pole spy franchise. And audience doesn't seem to like it.

The legs of recent MLK openers has not been especially great. Just about everything earns between 40 and 50% of its total in the 4-day.

 

Assuming all the openers hit the 40% mark, that would give them totals of:

 

RA: 106-132 (depending on if the 4-day is 48 or 53 million)

NJ: 66

JR: 55

DD: 25

Nah ... A JR installment deserves to be a 100m grosser. Cheap Paramount made a lame re-launch off just 60m. And even then it's DOM is still not crossing production budget line. TERRIBLE.
