CJohn
Are you kidding me? Give Titanic 3D's breakout. Battleship can do a 70-80m OW. Battleship is much more popular than Transformers in China. It's gonna break the OW record, and pull off a total of $250m.

A Marvel Fanboy
Weekend International B.O. Top 40 http://boxoffice.screendaily.com/countries/1/charts/latest Titanic should have grossed 100M OS last week, being the first of 2012, if they reported 74M instead of 67M for China. pinocchio
First weekend trend from Germany:Battleship 200'000 admissionsIntouchables maybe 100'000 (in it's 16th weekend...)For Titanic, HG they predict something like 80-90 k.For France, the numbers for Lock-Out went down to just 290'000 admissions (from 400 k). Battleship now predicted number two with 400 k.
CJohn
Crazy weekend over here. Box office is a mess. In some theaters Battleship dominates, and in others American Pire kicks is ass. I think in the end American Pie will win is 3rd weekend in a row!
Robertron
Intouchables is seriously just a machine!
RthDeadWov
International reporting is confusing, when you see weekend boxoffice for a film its not Fri-sun, its a mix of 2-5 days (wed-Sun) depending on how a country normally reports, normal weekend-week reporting is definded by standard release day of the week (ie France Wed, Australia/ Russia Thu, UK/Mexico Fri, Japan Sat etc) through Sunday. The majority of countries is either 3-4 days. Also if there are previews or a film offically opens on a day earlier than normal release day on the international reports it will be included as part of the 1st weekend (even if the local country reported the previews or earlier opening day seperately, exceptions to this is for example UK that even locally includes previews in opening weekend)eg preview Fri-sun weekend before and you open say Thursday, locally territory reports those previews ,Film opens Thursday the weekend figures is say 5mil cume 7mil, on the international reports regardless of how the local territory reported it will show weekend figure being 7mil(not 5mil) the 2mil from the prior weekend will not be included in the International total for the prior weekend. If say Film opened Wed(normal opening day Thu) took 2mil, weekend 5mil cume is 7mil(and locally the territory reported it that way) the next International weekend rpeort would say the weekend figure was 7mil.There are at rare times some exceptions. With Screen counts, the screen count is made up of mix of Number of Theatres, prints or screens depending. The Weekend ranking well, its a bit screwed when one films might open and is playing say 70 territories and on 10000 screens and another is in 30 countries on 5000 screens big flucuations in total grosses and rankings (the other might come around when another 30 countries open), sure the film in 70 countries on 10000 screens and week 1 will probably be #1.
