Going by deecee's prediction of thursday OD to OW multiplier of 4.5 gives it 5.1m OW.

And then a multiplier of 12 for the us ow gives it 61m OW :o

Surely it cant be that low

how reliable is this multiplier method usually?

I'm certain it's a multiplier that's being used based off of how DC films have performed in the past in Australia relative to the USA. It's not perfect obviously and I'm willing to bet that WW is simply going to be bigger in the USA relative to how it does in other markets. Having said that, that OD in Australia does give me pause. It's lower than Logan's and Doctor Strange's and the former was rated R and the latter isn't as popular as WW. Still too early to see how it does throughout the weekend (in Austrailia) though.

AUD1,119,814 is the exact figure.  Using the multiplier of a few other films we get the following OW totals.

Pirates 5 - AUD6.625m

Kong - AUD7.5m

Logan - AUD6.5m

FB - AUD5.2m

DS - AUD5.66m

I'm going to be optimistic and say it falls between AUD6-6.5m.

For it to hit USD100m Domestic that would be a 15 times multiplier if it opens to AUD6.5 in Australia.

I suppose I'm going to have to have faith in the system and set a maximum.

AUD6.5m x 13 = USD84.5.

I'm calling a Domestic ceiling of USD85m.  I think it will fall between USD70-80m.

Is Wonder Woman the film that breaks the system?

Нmmm ... I thought LegoBatman already broke the system

It was a strange one.  Delayed to the end of March and it struggled between BATB and Boss Baby.

wow.... given the hype over the past week I felt like it was heading towards a 10m OW here.  while in line with expectations, I think i am little disappointed in this...

then again i did put 79m OW for WW in the summer game... .so :jeb!:

I'm hoping I miscalculated the opening Thursday to weekend in Australia and it's more like AUD7-8m.

Here's a little further context....

Pirates made 944k OD and went on to make 5.88m for the weekend.

using this, WW made 1.12m OD so that should be a 6.9m (which isn't much below the 7-8m your hoping for...)  (I'm thinking around 7m now but lets see how it plays out.)
