Manu Delpech
Come on, what the hell was WB thinking? They were asking for it releasing it basically at the same time as Maleficent worldwide. They're dumping it is what they're doing.
darkelf
It's doing well in Croatia By my research, around DOFP numbers

Emirazza
This movie has a budget of 178M?
Filmovie
It's not doing less than 10% of Maleficient in Italy. It is making more than 20% of Jolie's movie. Moreover It should be noted that Maleficient is way overperforming here: it has more than doubled OZ in its first 2 days (Wed-Thur vs. Thur-Fri). A better comparision is Oblivion. It has made 167K in its first day (only 102k for EoT). Again it should be noted that EoT has a very crowded marketplace (Maleficient, DOFP and Godzilla), instead Oblivion was basically the only movie in theaters. EoT will for sure stay in theaters for at least a month since most of big blockbuster movies have been delayed in order to avoid FIFA World Cup and the "Slow" Season. So It will have better legs than Oblivion and should ultimately catch 4.3 mln Euro (Oblivion final result). Don't despair, at least 200 mln OS it still in play.
Moviedweeb
I am far from comfortable labeling this a flop or disappointment yet.

keysersoze123
Production Budget 110-120m nd P&A 60-70M approx 180M Nope Still, Edge of Tomorrow is going to have to do monstrous business to make back its $178 million net production budget and $100 million-plus marketing spend. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/tom-cruise-s-edge-tomorrow-707437 Edited May 31, 2014 by keysersoze123

keysersoze123
@Keyseroze LOL comon u knw hw badlyWB has marketed this movie u think theyll spend 100M on marketing EoT they must have spent on GODZILLA not on this!!! Moreover we may not know exact P&A its upto the studios!!! Quality aint quantity. There are still usual P&A costs for any blockbuster. Its never lower than 100M. There are still tons of ad and global marketing. Actually 100M is cheap for a blockbuster.
CJohn
It is completely bombing over here. The OW will be way below what Oblivion did.

John Marston
WB have been real idiots about release dates recently. Also for whatever reason they don't seem to take China into account when planning release dates
