Mulder
And when the Dinosaurs do break out it's going to be the same old stuff we saw in JP. It got old with JP3.
Mulder
I still don't get how that's a plot hole. Because the whole film sets it up as this being the first time he time traveled.

It was a silly ad that someone somehow managed to turn into a charming movie. You're looking way to close for stuff that isn't that important. You don't hire someone like that for a sequel to a franchise that needs a good film to get kick-started. There were so many other much better choices then Trevorrow and Connolly. Mulder
That's... not what a plot hole is. Yes it is. It's a plot point that's never mentioned again.
Chewy
Yes it is. It's a plot point that's never mentioned again. A plot hole is something that messes with the internal logic of the film. Not something you wish you'd heard more about
Chewy
Idk why I'm even defending this, i only thought it was okay. I guess it's just weird to see someone hating hard on a little indie movie.

Mulder
A plot hole is something that messes with the internal logic of the film. Not something you wish you'd heard more about It does mess with the logic of the film because the whole film is built up to be his first time, time travelling. This "previous event" is never mentioned. Edited May 19, 2014 by Mulder
redfirebird2008
Gonna have to make a note to never bring up Jurassic World around Mulder again. Damn, he's on a rampage that makes the T-Rex look like Bambi.

Deep Wang
Only the first two Terminators. I haven't seen the BTTF sequels in a long enough time to comment on them. Okay, well the entire Terminator franchise is IMPOSSIBLE! The only reason the terminators exist is because we built them based on the chip and the arm left behind from the original terminator. Paradox!! In BTTF 2, Biff took the Sports Almanac and gave it to his younger self, thus changing the future. He never would have been able to get back to the 2015 we saw, but the alternate 2015 stemming from him getting rich. Those are plot holes. Not one line from an ad in a newspaper.

And then you move on

It overcomes those plot holes by being damn good films. Something SNG isn't by dropping its character arcs like bricks.
