Ah yeah, the inexplicable Stryker age continuity mess-up.

X-Men First Class (1962)- Don Creech, age unknown, but the actor's at least in his 50s

DOFP (1973)-  Josh Helman, age 28

Wolverine 1 (early 1980s)-  Danny Huston, age 47

X2 (2003)- Brian Cox, age 57

He's an unstable Benjamin Button or something

So even with the new timeline there are still epic mistakes like that one.

Just WTF FOX. Can't you guys keep your shit together?

Wolverine 1 ends in March 1979. It occurs concurrently with Super 8.

I dunno. I read a lot up on that film before it was released. I'm pretty sure it's his dad,.

It explains away First Class, but not Stryker's strange aging pattern from DOFP onward.

Dad with the same name I guess since he's credited as William Stryker.

Even so, Stryker ages 19 years in less than 10, and then 10 years in over 20.

Whatever,

since the next 2 (Origins, X2) are deleted from the timeline.

At least that father/son thing makes a bit of sense.

Right, 3 Mile Island.

Well that means Stryker ages 19 years in only 6. And then 10 years in about 25.

And the characters in South park never age, it's disgraceful.

This has become like the bird call between you and Ed, isn't it?

Now #ED is going to run to MrPink's cabin in the woods for a Nolan party

There's a difference in the value of aging continuity between the stagnancy of South Park and a movie series that has taken great pains to establish period settings in various parts of the 20th Century for multiple films.
