This weekend was supernaturally gorgeous. Why would anyone spend it inside a theater? Not making excuses for a depressed weekend, I'm just saying.

I agree I did a lot of my posting from my patio yesterday

For summer movies, most of the excitement is usually before the release. Really hard for them to shock people when expectations are already so high.

Yeah but usually something comes out of nowhere and does ridiculous numbers. I guess we've been spoiled in the last couple of years.

Yeah, I think so. 15-17M is more realistic, I think.

Yeah, it looks to be following FF6 drops so far. So even with a better Monday hold, I don't see it getting 20M, that's more than what FF6 did.

We've been very spoiled.

lol I totally forgot. Epic fail on my part.

But I talk about all kinds of movies.  I'm just noticing that every post from Jay beezy is about how terrible Blended is.  Just thought that was kind of odd.

Funny side characters tend to make animation movies huge, there's a reason why Shrek was one of the most beloved animation movies of all time

Yep, I honestly couldn't give a fuck about Shrek, it was Donkey that I liked! I also liked Puss N Boots in the sequels.
