Rottentomatoes says it's a good time to be a movie fan.

Last week (so this is about where they'll end up)

Fault In Our Stars - 82% after 130 reviews (a relatively small number of reviews)

Edge Of Tomorrow - 90% after 212 reviews

This week (lots of reviews still to come, but both look good for now)

HTTYD2 - 92% after 13 reviews (definitely need more reviews just to make sure)

22 Jump St - 93% after 45 reviews (looks like a winner)

I haven't seen either Mal or Godzilla, so I don't have any kind of preference for either - but I think it is safe to say that Mal is going to have good legs and outperform Godzilla domestically.  Both Mal and Dragon 2 should both have excellent legs.  I would say Mal will end up at 225 domestic and Dragon 2 will end up at 300 domestic.  No hate aimed against Godzilla fans.

And a good reminder to Hollywood studio executives that summertime does not mean that we have to dumb down all of the scripts for the masses (At least until Transformers 4 is released, that is).

Hey, you never know, it might be good.

When you say "good", you mean like good in a way that me going into the kitchen and making a bunch of clanking noises with metal utensils, pots, and pans nonstop for 140 minutes is "good"...right?
