HYTYD2 is better than the 1st one.Also better than LEGO Movie

I still don't buy httyd2 being better than 1, 2 was really good but it never reached the emotional heights of the first.The LEGO Movie was better than both dragons though.

4. Transformers: The Animated Movie

5. The Incredibles

 

Most people wouldn't put that on a top 5 animated films, let alone a top 10 animated films.

Dragon 2 really needs to beat 22 Jump this weekend either in the 3-day totals or the 5-day totals, just as a matter of dignity and pride. 4th of July weekend would assume lots of families and kids together for parades, fireworks, etc., so it should do it.  Probably 9 million for Dragon and 8.5 for 22 Jump over the 3 day.  If Dragon loses to 22 Jump for the 4th weekend in a row, then it is basically time to say there is no hope for the human race.

 

Don't know why compare Dragon 2 and 22JS, but Dragon 2 won't get back any pride if it beats 22JS every weekend from now on. That movie out-grossed it's predecessor in 3 weekends while Dragon 2 will barely get over even KFP2's unadjusted, forget HTTYD1. Compared to 22JS there's nothing Dragon 2 can do to recover pride and dignity.

There's nothing wrong with Transformers The Animated Movie.

 

It's a cool, little movie from an adult's perspective and mind blowingly awesome from a kid's.

EoT is looking at a 3.25m weekend taking it to 90.5m.

Actually Tammy opened yesterday and EOT fell something like 30% and was down 57% for the week.

 

I think people just wanted to watch it as opposed to fudging. It was bound to recover considering it's the only movie besides Mal that has noticeable WOM benefit.
