Already posted my list, but just want to thank lisa for her numbering system.

I've been trying desperately to make a list for years (ever since I saw forum lists) but never could get a proper list together because:

1) Couldn't decide what to put above what

2) Time passing so would see more films and would also forget which films I liked, to what extent, and why

It seemed like you had to keep rewatching, something I don't do much, to get a real "list". Maybe it was OCD, maybe it was perfectionism, either way, I couldn't sit long enough to make a list, and have many attempted but failed variations on various spreadsheets. So, this whole, fuck the system way of doing it, pleases me. Whatever I had in me trying to figure out a way to realize a proper list, is gone and I am comfortable with the huge swathe of films breaking of ranks version.

Yeah, so thanks for saving me time in the future with the futile attempt at ranking with the rigid mindset destroyed. :)

Think my top 100 has already changed from submission, but I'll leave a new list for next year. I don't think I have 100 films that meet the arbitrary cut-off mark. My new guidelines are ranks for the top 25, 26-50 or even up to 100. And then 100+, 200+ etc. but they can have more or less than the 100 films band.

No one probably cares but it feels really good to destroy idiotic perceptions you don't know why you had. :D

Hey I think you should wait until a bit closer to the deadline, a lot of people are pretty last minute. And this just needs a bit more promotion, I'm sure lots of people are interested in seeing an updated list.  I'm having a bit of trouble promoting my Top 100 Animated Films thread too but I think you just have to be persistent with it.
