Dat Marc Forster mastery.

Marc Forster directed a movie called Machine Gun Preacher. I never saw it, but for the title alone the man deserves a little respect.

Fuck Quantum of Solace. I prefer to believe it doesn't exist. Casino Royale and Skyfall are both much superior to that.

I like the opening - the car chase and the foot/rooftops chase and fight scene. After that...sheesh.

Do you say this because Skyfall is a remake of The Dark Knight?

A few posts after mine...

Skyfall was the biggest TDK rip-off.

It was easy to see this coming

QOS has a Car chase, foot chase, boat chase, and plane chase.

Always found that interesting.

And the movie is still fucking terrible.

I'm just bewildered by the love for Skyfall. I thought it was decent but forgettable. I really didn't get what made it special.

A memorable villain on the same level as the series' greats (ignore the convoluted, illogical plan)

Great timing (50 year anniversary)

Superb cinematography

Mommy issues

The blend of new-type, Craig-Bond and old school, with the promise for more

Home Alone remake

Basically Skyfall is considered a big deal is because it was released during the 50th anniversary of Bond. The British REALLY made a big deal out of it.

Also the first Bond to get into the Billion Dollar Club. ;)
