But, I think we'll see at least 2.5 legs.  Not that much competition in Aug except TMNT but if that opens to $90m+ all bets are off.

DOFP was the 8th movie in a franchise opening on a four day weekend, so its legs were never going to be all that.

 

Also GOTG is higher than DOFP ever reached in the top 250.

Well 37.8 is a hell of a lot more than I thought it could make opening day.  Salute, going to checking it out tonight.  But It's not beating "Transformers 4" OW.  Minus Previews it made 26 Million OD.

LOL this movie was not expected to open anywhere near $90m. Those preview numbers really skew the opening weekend predictions for everybody. Previews for this movie was like a half days showings.

Yeah, we know, but considering de 100/300M predictions last night and all the "it's a family movie, it's Marvel so it won't be froant-loaded, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread" crap and how it was gonna beat Trans4ormers it's nice to rub it in a little.

Maleficent with the lowest drop of the bunch now moves above HTTYD2 for the first time. Totally lost with the 8.8 decline(???) for Dragon's Friday number? Studio reporting error?
