I would be interested in a Black Widow + Hawkeye movie...seems like there is a lot of history there which they could explore...

Orrrrrr......... down the road in phase 3 or maybe even after that (I do not know anything about the comic books, so save me the lectures) I would love a movie where it was just Black Widow and Gamora, the two female assassins taking control of their own movie.

Question about Twitter positive:negative ratio

=> the ratio jumped within a day rather strongly. Is that normal oder is it bcs certain nay-sayer groups seem to love to get active (at IMDb it looks a bit like that) or...???

I have no expreience with 'social media' thingies like facebook or Twitter

Yea but with a Black Widow + Hawkeye movie we would get the obligotory sex scene...Can you just imagine the two superheroes going at it?....Hmm now that I think about it, a Black Widow and Gamora sex scene might trump that so your idea may not be that bad either...

I'll admit I didn't know what to expect from guardian's box office at first, I always predicted around 180-240m range total, and predicted a 75m opening hoping for mid 80s, so it's definitely surpassing box office expectations. But I will say as each blockbuster this summer underperformed I was thinking (but not certain) that GOTG could be the breakout Pirates/transformers and win the summer. We still need to see how it performs next week before we know if it can win the summer or not but it's definitely possible if it can hold well.

Deadline updatehttp://m.deadline.com/2014/08/box-office-preview-guardians-of-the-galaxy-expected-to-rock-et-the-down-low-on-get-on-up/

7th UPDATE, Saturday, 9:44 PM: More numbers are coming in tonight and it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy will lessen the brunt of the summer slump by about 2% and is on track for around a $93M to $96M weekend at the moment with more information coming in as the night progresses. From May 2nd to August 3rd this summer shows about a $3.191B haul so far compared to $3.904B from the record-breaking 2013 (about an 18% difference at the moment), according to Rentrak. However, Guardians has definitely lifted the box office from the same weekend a year ago — with a Top Ten haul of around $170M to $180M compared to last year’s $117.9M.Guardians has also, as expected, busted the previous August best-opener record held by Bourne Ultimatum — actually it will come in around 30% higher than the 2007 pic did with is $69.2M opening. Like we reported earlier, the Disney/Marvel pic will land very close to the April opening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier which took in $95M on its opening weekend in April of this year. Just a great weekend for Disney/Marvel overall.Meanwhile, Universal’s Get On Up is on track right now to take in around $14M and change as Saturday looks to bring in around $5.2M, just slightly less than expected. This is based on 9 PM estimates. The studio’s Lucy looks like it will bring in maybe $18M for the three-day in its second weekend.
