There is nothing speculative about science in Gravity. It is set in today's world with today's space tech.

They dont have to have lasers, aliens, and wormholes. Astronomy is a field of science, and the story is not real, therefore it is sci-fi. TDAT is considered sci-fi for the same reason, do you see aliens in it?

Water is not wet.

The sky is green.

Michael Jordan is white.

Brett Ratner is the best director working today.

Gravity is sci-fi.

Metallica is a great electronica band.

There is sound in space.

The sun will never go supernova.

The US debt is not a problem.

Olivia Wylde is an Oscar winning actress.

The argument whether Gravity is sci-fi or not is the most important argument EVER.

TDAT?

Day After Tomorrow.

Try again.

Fyi, you never help your arguments. You always have a sarcastic/smartass response or just don't respond at all. Ps, it must be important to you if you keep going on about it.

How do you figure?

Gravity is under the sub genre, hard sci-fi.

The LOL is on you. The Day After Tomorrow is obviously sci-fi.

NO. You're obviously wrong. Everybody knows The Day After Tomorrow is a Family Comedy. Really now, John, get your shit together.
