eXtacy
http://www.hsx.com/forum/forum.php?id=3&pid=295253 The Expendables 3 didn't do so hot at Notfabio's theater. Previews did 40% of what the last one did, that has to be an extremely bad sign

keysersoze123
Probably looking at sub 15M OW. That would be shocking considering how big an ensemble it is. Despite all of them no longer being a draw today.
Jay Beezy
Probably looking at sub 15M OW. That would be shocking considering how big an ensemble it is. Despite all of them no longer being a draw today. These films were made primarily for the nostalgia and the problem is they never truly felt like they were growing with each installment and franchise movies should. Jason Statham in particular fits better in the Fast and Furious movies and he seemed ready to move into that universe, provided they had plans to keep him on for more than one movie, but now the future of that franchise is uncertain for obvious reasons. RyneOh1040
Does anyone have any idea what The Giver is tracking around or is going to be a non-factor this weekend? Know the book is pretty popular and required reading for most schools and wasn't sure what expectations were. Mid teens seems about right to me, but is there any way it surprises and pushes for number 1? *NOTE. I saw the film at a screening a few weeks ago and thought it was poor to mediocre. miketheavenger
4.22M (-13%) 7.18M (+70%) 10.4M(+45%) 7.3M (-30%) 3rd weekend 24.9M (-41%) Sounds quite reasonable, though I'm secretly hoping for a kind of miracoulous sub-40% drop.
The Panda
Turtles will win the weekend by about 3-4 million. Lol, there is no reason to think it could win by that much. It'd have to have an unprecedented Friday increase (and guardians will already have a larger one due to easier competition and last weekend not having 11m in previews) and be able to out-marvel Guardians' Saturday increase.Face it, TMNT is in for a nice 60%+ drop. Nope. It won't. Face it, the jumps will be bigger today for Turtles than they will for GOTG. It will have a much bigger Saturday too.
