The marketing campaign surrounding Shaft has been too quiet for it to go beyond numbers in the high teens at best.

boxofficeth
Looking at these MIB prediction of late, I cant help but wonder if it would repeat the Mummy 2017. I hope it excels though. Poor Chris Hemsworth! He cant find any hits outside Thor's world.

Viktor Vilotijevic
I updated it. It's probably me - but I can't seem to know how to predict grosses during the work days 😕

It's probably me - but I can't seem to know how to predict grosses during the work days 😕 That's cool. Here's how I figure it: 1. On odd weeks during the school year: mid-week is around 50% of the weekends. Maybe even less if it is September or some other busy time of the year. 2. Christmas/New Years weeks: Mid-week is at LEAST the same as weekends and, in the case of holiday releases, usually higher (especially if XMas eve or NY eve falls on the weekend). The weekend after the holidays can go either way. 3. Weeks such as President's week or Thanksgiving week or heavy spring break weeks, mid-weeks seem to be around 60% of the weekends. For Frozen II, it's TG week will probably be higher. 4. In the first few weeks of June, mid-weeks can be very similar to weekends, especially for family films (like SLOP, TS, and Aladdin). 5. The last week of June all the way through the first week of August, the mid-weeks play out similar to weekends. Aladdin has been playing out a lot like mid-summer. It is doing mad-money during the mid-week.
