Star Wars Rebels - Season 3 on September 24 : Will Grand Admiral Thrawn destroy them all??

Recommended Posts

Fun little show tonight.  Hondo is always a delight, the Rebels get some <SPOILER DELETED> which will almost certainly come up later on, and Ezra grows a little bit more.

Nothing earth shattering, but it was fun, which is what matters.  So, 7.8 to 8 out of 10 I think.  Almost entirely because of Jim Cummings.

Also, gonna put this in spoilers just since it's a bit lengthy.

Spoiler

They brought Ahsoka back.

They brought Maul back.

They brought Cham Syndulla back.

They brought Rex back.

They're almost certainly going to have Obi-Wan show up again for a final throwdown with Maul.

Apparently the big fan theory is that Sabine's mother is some recurring Mandalorian character from TCW who will eventually show up.

If they can convince Forest Whitaker to voice-act, they'll bring Saw back.

And yet instead of using the show as an opportunity to bring back Asajj Ventress, they kill her off in a random novel based upon ideas for a story arc in TCW that never came close to being filmed or even pre-produced.

Now that's lame. Talk about a waste of character utilization for maximum effect.
