Now it'll open against Sing, Passengers, Why Him? and R1's second holiday boosted weekend. If the movie catches on with audiences it won't matter anyway but if someone is gonna get lost in the shufle it'll be La La Land. 

 

The Space Between Us got pushed to Feb 2017... I think studios are afraid of getting sucked into a black hole that weekend.

I think it's December 7. It sucks our only source is either ClickTheCity or IMDB.com which is not updated regularly.

Probably, lol. It will be a non-event if it opens in February. Most people who want to check it out will have the screener downloaded in their PCs. They need to open this one in December!

The day of the limited US release - December 9th. I absolutely have to have that soundtrack ASAP. As long as that doesn't get delayed, I can hold out for the movie for an extra week or two - at most.

I am thinking twice if I want to listen to the OST before its release. Sometimes hearing the song first while it's incorporated in a movie is more magical!

On the plus side, the new date means they do indeed have a ton of faith in this really breaking out so I guess we should consider that as a great sign. On the negative side, the old date was probably better to avoid the sheer competition of the new releases that weekend.
