grim22
Ridley Scott is drunk as fuck if he thinks he is gonna do 3 more Prometheus sequels lol. This sequel is pretty much being made because Fox sees profit potential in future Alien movies, as well as using them as an excuse to bring out new boxed sets for the older movies. Prometheus 2 is even a consideration because the first movie was made for only 120M, if the budget of Prometheus was 190M like Pacific Rim, Prometheus 2 would not be getting made. CJohn
There is obvious potential in the Alien franchise. But a sequel do Prometheus is gonna drop a lot from the first.

CJohn
We should have a contest to see which studio gets their sequels out 1st: FOX for The F4 Sequel or ALIEN: PARADISE FAIL??Both are FOX. FOX needs to get their shit together But we can throw Tron 3 from Disney and Pacific Rim 2 from Universal in there
grim22
Both are FOX. FOX needs to get their shit together But we can throw Tron 3 from Disney and Pacific Rim 2 from Universal in there And the Terminator Genisys sequel (which I think may actually happen thanks solely to China, 450M WW on a 150M budget is a good return).... and (as much as it may rankle people) a Mad Max Fury Road sequel. Despite great reviews and a leggy run, Fury Road ended with only 375M WW on a 150M budget.

CaptainJackSparrow
Prometheus made 400 mil off a 120 mil budget, a sequel is in a much better position than some of these movies that you all are listing.
solaris
Those 2 definitly belong to that list as well. Hell even Star Trek Into Darkness belongs on that list. Around a $200m budget and a $460m WW gross is cutting that profit margin to the bone.

grim22
Y'all gotta let this Tron business go. With the Pan and Crimson Peak press tours coming up, expect to see a LOT of "Tron 3/Pacific Rim 2/Hellboy 3 are still in development" articles.

Goffe
Dude gets terrified by a 2000-year-old corpse, but falls in love with the terrifying space cobra. well, he was a biologist. He discovered a living organism in another planet, the excitement of seeing a new specie may have clouded his senses. Plus, one wouldn't just assume that the cobra would be that deadly.
