Well then by that logic Transformers: Age of Extinction would be a great BP winner too. Can't get much more unique for BP than a third sequel in a panned blockbuster Michael Bay action franchise.

not what I meant but sure, that's an excellent point you got there. congrats.. I meant among acclaimed movies the linklater aesthetic (which needs its due since it's inspired more movies since Slacker than people realise) hasn't really gotten it's due.

I chose the movie by my man Fincher over the movie by the guy who made Bab-insert own head so far up ass it comes back out the neck-el

Well if we're talking unique acclaimed movies, then I'm rooting for GBH. Anderson is even more overlooked than Linklater has been and his style of film-making is very much his own.

I'm fairly curious to see who the nominees for the oscars are on Thursday. GBH better get nominated... Or else.

It's locked for a BP nom. In fact it may end up joining or even knocking out Birdman as the real threat to Boyhood at the rate it's going this awards season.
