AniNate
At least Pixar can take solace in that their non Oscar contender this year was still a hell of a lot better than Tom McCarthy's

mahnamahna
Too bad Creed's chances at a BP nomination seem to be very low
Jake Gittes
They've got time to improve. Though I actually hate to say this but Creed will be much easier for WB to push than Fury Road.

Really tough year at the Brothers.

Impact
A few weeks ago when I saw Spectre there was a poster for Room and a friend went "hey they are releasing that film the internet is obsessed with" we both had a huge laugh then. When I said its a Oscar frontrunner it made the convo even MORE amusing.

Tau Ceti
What's going wrong with Room? I loved it and haven't met a person who doesn't after seeing it. But it looks like a failure to launch in platform release. Trouble connecting because of subject matter?

I'm guessing it has more to do with A24's light expansion over the past month causing moviegoers to lose interest rather than any bad word-of-mouth. Impact
Well I see Scott taking home the DGA-but the PGA on the other hand I'm not sure what will win, of course we will have to wait for the nominees first. But I can see Revenant or Spotlight winning the PGA. Martian might take home the SAG.
