Okay, so Furious 7 was really good, unrealistic and cheesy, but really good fun and had heart, but it is not in anyway groundbreaking. definitely not top 5 ww worthy. how did it manage to do this well?

Avengers, Iron Man 3, Harry Potter 8 are not "groundbreaking" but they were all this size. A movie doesn't need to actually be good in order to make shit tons of money.

edit: Specifically, Deadline says 250.1M worldwide, but BOM says it has 250.1M overseas.
